Mentions slow fast-charging, road noise, the weak high beams, the rain sensor and automatic wipers, constant bing and bongs (I got used to it), and other things.
Thanks. I don’t think I saw that. I rarely fast charge, so that hasn’t been a concern for me. I find the car to be pretty quiet overall. I also haven’t noticed excessive bing/bongs. The headlights are weak, though.
I have an ID4, it doesn't beep but if it did there would be a way of stopping it somewhere.
Not to say that there are not some problems with the ID4.
The window controls are a favourite complaint.
I get a message that the power is low on the 12V battery whenever the temperature drops to -20C and a meaningless message that I should, therefore, "drive carefully".... WTF
One thing I will never understand is why EVs need a 12V battery in the first place.
My understanding is that the main battery is too high a voltage to run the EV electronics safely. The 12-volt system provides necessary voltage reduction and has the benefit of allowing existing car electronic components to be used.
There was a reddit-thread about this some months ago: https://www.reddit.com/r/IoniqEV/comments/1ffe37c/what_are_some_of_the_things_you_dont_like_about/

Sure but that voltage can be stepped down. Just like you can charge your i-Phone on 110 V outlets. That is no answer as far as I can see.
What it is leaves me puzzled.
