The NHTSA recall to fix the backup camera issue is supposed to go into effect on June 19th and today (June 18th) people are reporting that an OTA (over-the-air) update has appeared on their car in North America.
The little Cloud Download icon just appeared today while I was driving to work. Like any good software company, you roll updates out to people in waves so if there are any issues that were missed in testing it would only effect the first in the rollout and not all users and they could stop and fix the issue.
I want to know when the new Apple iOS 26 CarPlay will be availabile in the Polestar. I assume that will be in a system update and not from the Google Play store.
Yep. I have been following. Better UI so phone calls and other things don't intterupt/cover the maps. The new Apple Liquid Glass look. I think I want it.

Yes, definitely. I gotta be patient. I just hope whatever is causing my app connection issues doesn't also affect me getting the OTA!
