Pondering the Polestar 2, Part 3: Test Drives
Pure excitement!
As I wrote about in Part 2, I drove three Polestar 2 models in my area, in this order:
2021 Launch Edition in Thunder (gray, 25K miles).
2022 Plus + Pilot in Thunder (20K miles).
2022 Pilot + Pilot + Performance in Void (black, 30K miles).
2021 Polestar 2 Launch Edition
The first Polestar 2 that I drove was this Thunder gray 2021 Launch Edition at a local Honda dealer in the mall area. This dealer has been around for a long time, although it has changed hands over the years. Back in 2001 when it was a Subaru dealer, we actually bought a new Subaru Legacy GT there. Later when it switched to Honda, we took our Odyssey there for service.
I contacted the dealer via the form on the car’s page on a Thursday evening and requested an appointment. I heard back from a salesman Friday morning and after some back and forth, I stopped by around 11am to look at the Polestar.
